چکیده
Purpose: To analyse diagnostic and therapeutic impact of molecular imaging TNM (miTNM) stage obtained with [18F]DCFPyL versus [18F]F-choline in head-to-head comparison biochemical recurrence (BCR) prostate cancer (PCa). Material methods: Patients BCR PCa after radical treatment previous [18F]F-choline-PET/CT (negative or oligometastatic disease) were recruited to [18F]DCFPyL-PET/CT. classified according to: grade group, European Association Urology classification, PSA, PSA doubling time (PSAdt) velocity (PSAvel). The overall detection rate (DR) miTNM PROMISE criteria assessed for both radiotracers also correlated (Kappa). influence kinetics on PET/CT (DR miTNM) predictive value unfavourable determined. Cut-off PSAdt PSAvel values able predict results Change derived from information compared evaluated. Results: We studied 138 patients. showed a higher DR than (64.5% 33.3%) fair agreement. detected T 33.3% 19.6%, N 27.5% 13.8%, M 30.4% 8.7%. Both tracers’ significant associations PSAvel. Significant association was only found between (p = 0.033). For [18F]DCFPyL-PET/CT, cut-off 4.09 5.59 months, respectively, stage. changed management 40/138 Conclusions: provides superior staging restaging BCR, especially high kinetics, showing agreement [18F]F-choline.

Association between prostate specific antigen change over time and prostate cancer recurrence risk: a joint model
Background: Prostate specific antigen (PSA) is an important biomarker to monitor patients after treated with radiation therapy (RT). The aim of this study is to evaluate the relationship between the PSA data and prostate cancer recurrence using the joint modeling. Methods: This historical cohort study was performed on 422 prostate cancer patients. Inclusion criteria included: patients with loc...
متن کاملAge Specific Reference Levels of Serum Prostate-Specific Antigen, Prostate Volume and Prostate Specific Antigen Density in Healthy Iranian Men
Background: It is relevant to highlight that there is not a precise and perfect report on either 95 percentile value (upper limit of normal range) or on appropriate reference intervals for serum PSA in Iranian population. Objective: To determine age-specific reference ranges for serum prostate-specific antigen (PSA) concentration and PSA density (PSAD) and prostate volumes in a population of he...
متن کاملExpression of Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA) in Brain Glioma and its Correlation with Tumor Grade
Background & Objective Angiogenesis is an essential component of tumor growth. Expression of PSMA on the neo-vasculature of many solid tumors, including glioblastoma multi-form, has been determined. The pattern of expression suggests that PSMA may play a functional role in angiogenesis. Methods: expression of PSMA in dif...

15 صفحه اولWhat is the most appropriate test in detecting prostate cancer in patients with intermediate prostate specific antigen levels?
Abstract Background: Regarding the variety of tests present for detecting and also screening prostate cancer and also bearing in mind the advantages and disadvantages of these tests we decided to re-evaluate these tests (total prostate specific antigen and all of its modifications) in detecting prostate cancer in men with intermediate serum PSAlevels. Methods: Following a cross se...
